Acharya Samantabhadra is a fully ordained monk. He completed ten years of formal training as an Acharya (Master) in Buddhadharma with Khenpo Khenchen Sonam Gyatso, Sakya College, Dehradoon, India. He spent a year at the Sakya Institute in Himalchal Pradesh under His Holiness the 42nd Kyabgon Gongma Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche and five years specialising in Knor Sakya Vajrayana Studies under the tutelage of Ludig Khentsen Rinpoche, Dehradoon.
He is one of the Vidyadhara’s principle attendants and is responsible for translating Mahayana and Vajrayana texts from Tibetan into Nepali, as well as teaching classical Buddhist texts.
